This company moved from Kinston, North Carolina, to Richmond, Virginia, July 3, 1863; to Wilmington, North Carolina, July 10, 1863; to Charleston, South Carolina, August 8, 1863. Was at Fort Sumter, South Carolina, ten days and afterwards at Fort Wagner, where they remained until the evacuation on the night of Sept. 6, 1863.
