Oglesby, Augustus Rowan - Private - September 10, 1861. On detached duty at Fort Sumter, South Carolina, December 31, 1863. No later record. He was born on July 12, 1844 in Emanuel County, Georgia. After the war, he attended medical school at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and practiced medicine in Emanuel County until his death. Dr. Oglesby died on April 23, 1902, and was buried in the Oglesby Family Cemetery in Jenkins County, Georgia.
