Enrolled at Salem, to serve three years, and mustered in as Col., Aug. 22, 1862; Commissioned Col., Sept. 8, 1862, with rank from Aug. 22, 1862, original; wounded in action, May 25, 1864, near Dallas, Georgia; died of his wounds, June 23, 1864, at officers hospital, Chattanooga, Tenn.

Norton, Franklin - Lt. Colonel (in the field). Age, 28 years. Enrolled at Greenwich, to serve three years, and mustered in as Lieut. Col., Aug. 18, 1862; commissioned Lieut. Col., Aug. 18, 1862, with rank from same date; wounded in action, May 1, 1863, at Chancellorsville, Va.; died of his wounds, May 12, 1863 at Washington D.C.; prior to service captain, Thirteenth Militia and Co. I, Seventy seventh Infantry.

Rogers, James C. - Major (in the field). Age, 23 years. Enrolled at Sandy Hill, to serve three years, and mustered in as major, Aug. 18, 1862; as Lieut. Col., May 13, 1863; as Col., Feb. 20, 1865; mustered out with regiment, June 8, 1865, near Washington D.C.; prior service, captain Co. F. 43rd Infantry. Commissioned a major, Aug. 181862, with rank from same date, original; Lieut. Col., May 21, 1863, with rank from may 12, 1863, vice F. Norton deceased; Col. December 22, 1864, with rank from November 19, 1864, vice A. Stevens appointed Col., 176th New York Volunteers.

Wallace, George H. - Adjutant. Age, 26 years. Enrolled at Albany, to serve three years, and mustered in as 1st Lieut. and adjutant, July 28, 1862; assigned to Co. C, as 1st Lieut., June 1, 1863; mustered in as captain, Nov. 11, 1863; discharged, Jan. 11, 1864, to enlist in Regular Army; also born as Wallice. Commissioned 1st Lieut. and adjutant, Sept. 10, 1862, with rank from July 28, 1862, original; captain, Oct. 15, 1863, with rank from a 12, 1863, vice A. H. Tanner, promoted.

King, John - Quartermaster, Salem. Age, 39 years. Enrolled at Albany, to serve three years, and mustered in as 1st Lieut. and quartermaster, July 28, 1862; discharged, Oct. 25, 1862. Commissioned 1st Lieut. and quartermaster, Sept. 10, 1862, with rank from July 28, 1862, original.

Moneypenny, John - Surgeon. Age, 37 years. Enrolled at Salem, to serve three years, and mustered in as surgeon, Sept. 6, 1862; discharged, March 17, 1863; also born as Monypenny. Commissioned surgeon, Sept. 10, 1862, with rank from Sept. 6, 1862, original.

Kennedy, Lysander Wilcox - 1st Assistant Surgeon, Cambridge. Age, 29 years. Enrolled at Salem, to serve three years, and mustered in as assistant surgeon, Aug. 7, 1862; promoted surgeon, One Hundred and Nineteenth Infantry, May 20, 1865. Commissioned assistant surgeon, Sept. 10, 1862, with rank from Aug. 7, 1862, original.

Connelly, Richard S. - 2nd Assistant Surgeon, Easton. Age, 31 years. Enrolled, Sept. 4, 1862, at Salem, to serve three years; mustered in as assistant surgeon, Sept. 11, 1862; mustered out with regiment, June 8, 1865, near Washington, D.C.; also born as Connolley. Commissioned assistant surgeon, Sept. 22, 1862, with rank from Sept. 11, 1862, original.

Gordon, Henry - Chaplain, Cambridge. Age, 37 years. Enrolled at Salem, to serve three years, and mustered in as Chaplain, Aug. 22, 1862; discharged, April 18, 1863. Commissioned Chaplain, Sept. 10, 1862, with rank from Aug. 22, 1862, original.

Martin, Walter F. - Sergeant Major, Fort Ann. Age, 20 years. Enrolled, Aug. 2, 1862, at Fort Ann., to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. D. E., Aug. 14, 1862; promoted Sergeant Major, Sept. 4, 1862, mustered in as second lieutenant, Co. F., Jan. 13, 1864, captured June 22, 1864; paroled, no date; mustered out with Co., June 8, 1865, near Washington, D.C. Commissioned second lieutenant Oct. 21, 1863, with rank from February 11, 1863, vice G. Robinson promoted.

Warner, Charles D. - Quartermaster Sergeant. Age, 22 years. Enlisted at White Creek, to serve three years, and mustered in as private, Co. G., July 30, 1862; promoted quartermaster sergeant, Sept. 4, 1862; mustered out with regiment, June 8, 1865, near Washington, D.C.

Rice, Clark - Commissary Sergeant. Age, 20 years. Enlisted Aug. 19, 1862, at Argyle, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. F., Sept. 4, 1862; promoted commissary sergeant, same date; mustered out with regiment, June 8, 1865, near Washington, D.C.

Corning, Leonard - Hospital Steward, Fort Ann. Age, 26 years. Enlisted, Aug. 5, 1862, at Fortay and, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. D. E., Aug. 22, 1862; promoted hospital steward, Sept. 4, 1862; mustered out with regiment, June 8, 1865, near Washington, D.C.

Buell, Andrew A. - Clerk, Whitehall. Age, 21 years. Enlisted, Aug. 29, 1862, at Whitehall, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. C., Sept. 4, 1862; absent on detached service in hospital from May 3 to Aug., 1863, and in Provost Marshal's office, Troy, N. Y., at muster out of company; also born as Buel.
